Washing & Care Instructions for AK LiteRide Equestrian Coat

Machine Washable.

· Machine washable up to 30 degrees,

Wash cold on a gentle cycle
Use mild, non-biological detergent (no bleach, fabric softeners, or harsh chemicals)
Fasten all zippers and close all flaps before washing
Do not wring or twist
Wash separately or with like technical garments

Drying:

Air dry flat or hang in a well-ventilated area
Do not tumble dry
Keep away from direct heat sources (radiators, fireplaces, direct sunlight)

Waterproof Reproofing:

After several washes, reproof the waterproof layer using a durable water repellent (DWR) spray or wash-in product designed for technical outerwear (e.g., Nikwax, Grangers)
Always apply DWR while the coat is clean and slightly damp, then air dry or lightly heat set if permitted

Fur Lining Care:

Do not bleach or iron
Spot clean the lining with a damp cloth if needed

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place
Hang the coat on a wide, padded hanger to retain shape
Avoid long-term compression or folding, which can damage the waterproof membrane and lining
